Summer Camp - Registration Opens on February 1st!
Dinosaurs & Dragons
For 4-year-olds and students entering kindergarten this upcoming Fall. Students must be 4-years-old at the start of camp.
It’s time to hear your fiercest “RAWR!” as we spend a week as dinosaurs and dragons. Will you be able to breathe fire? How loud can you stomp? We’ll find out together in this high energy drama camp.
Little Players Camp: Spark your creativity and have lots of fun at the same time! Little Players camps are an integrated arts experience that includes drama, storytelling, songs, crafts, and movement. Each week focuses on a different theme and different activities to excite the young camper’s imagination.
Unicorns, Dragons, & Mermaids
For students entering 1st - 2nd grade this Fall
Mystical creatures come to life in this week-long drama camp. We’ll explore dragon stories, make unicorn horns, go under the sea together, and create our own story full of mystery, magic, and mythology.
TaleSpinners Camp: Create your own story and bring it to life on stage! Throughout the week TaleSpinners campers learn acting, playwriting, and design skills. Then, they work together to write an original play inspired by that week’s theme. They’ll act out their chosen characters, choose costumes, make props and set pieces, and perform their dazzling creation on the final day.
High School Musical Jr.
For students entering 6th - 12th grade this upcoming Fall
Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life in Disney’s High School Musical Jr. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends, and family, while balancing their classes and extra-curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike. In Studio East’s new three-week camp experience, students will have even more time to hone their performance skills, take additional skill-based workshops, and rehearse a more complex show complete with costumes, props, and a tech team to help the show run smoothly. Teen Camps are two-three weeks of casting, rehearsing, and performing a fully-staged musical or play. The camp also provides 6th – 12th graders a variety of focused skill-building exercises intended to improve students’ theater skills. These productions are designed so that every participant has a moment to shine! The multi-week structure allows students more time to dive into acting and performance skills, and rehearse a longer, more detailed play than they would in a one-week camp.
* 3-week camp - The first two weeks will be at Lake Washington United Methodist Church. The third & final week will be at Studio East.

Scene of the Crime
For 3rd - 5th graders
What will happen when a group of creative kids work together to write a mystery? We’ll invent the crime, the inspectors, and the suspects for this week’s play. Our audience will be on the edge of their seat as they try to solve the puzzle in our final performance.
Change It Up Camp: In Change It Up Camp students create and perform a world premiere in one week! We will create a parody version or popular story or genre, and learn the acting skills to bring it to life under the direction of professional theater artists. Then, after rehearsing our original script, we’ll premiere it on the final day of camp for our family and friends.
Broadway Boot Camp
For students entering 3rd - 5th grade this upcoming Fall
Become a triple threat in just a week in this camp dedicated to honing your musical theater skills! We'll explore Broadway classics as well as contemporary musical theater hits while strengthening our singing, dancing, and acting skills as well as having a lot of fun. Then we’ll select a few pieces to perform on the final day of camp.
Skills Camp: Each Skills Camp at Studio East features different classes. Spend a week taking a deep dive into a specific performing arts skill that range from camera work, to onstage skills, to backstage options. At the end of the week, show off your knowledge with an informal performance, fully-edited video, or portfolio of work.

Showstoppers!
For students entering 3rd-5th grade this upcoming Fall
Calling all Broadway lovers! In this Studio East original script, students will explore characters, scenes, and showstopping songs from popular Broadway musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, Wicked, Willy Wonka, Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and more. With enough roles for every student to shine, this is sure to be a musical theater extravaganza!

At the Zoo!
For 4-year-olds and students entering kindergarten this upcoming Fall. Students must be 4-years-old at the start of camp.
There are so many animals to be! Shall we swing through the trees as monkeys? Swim through the water like seals? Prowl through the brush like tigers? We’ll explore the animal kingdom as we use our imaginations to explore the zoo.

Ways to Be Wicked
For students entering 1st - 2nd grade this Fall
As they say in Disney’s Descendants, “There are so many ways to be wicked!” In this one-week drama camp, we’ll explore villainy. So prepare your biggest evil laugh as you choose your favorite dastardly doer, create your own, or be the hero that saves the day. The choice is yours as we create our own wicked story.
