Intro to Musical Theater Dance
In this Musical Theater Dance class, students will focus on learning stage presence, dance technique, musicality, and the basic elements of dance to popular musical theater music, past and present. Beginning dance students will leave this class with a better understanding of movement and with more confidence performing.

Play Creation: Mystery and Magic
Through dramatic play, improvisation, and imagination games we will explore drama technique and acting skills in this fun, lively acting class. Then we'll work together to create our own amazing original play inspired by the theme "Mystery and Magic" There may be characters from "Harry Potter", "Percy Jackson", "Encanto" or anything from your imagination!

Drama Bugs: Treasure Hunters
Exploring new world through drama is a great way to learn confidence and communication skills! This class theme is "Treasure Hunters". We'll hunt and find our own treasure! Students will play games, read stories, and sing songs related to the theme! Together we'll unleash their inner drama bug! Young perormers learn to create crazy characters and tell stories as they work as individuals and cooperatively in this super fun, high-energy class.

Broadway Review: Wizard of Oz
Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! Students will explore the magical musical world of L. Frank Baum. We will learn classic songs such as Somewhere Over The Rainbow, If I Only had a Brain and We’re off To See The Wizard! And don’t forget about dancing! While exploring the fun and colorful characters we will learn how to move like them, too.
For 3rd - 5th graders.

Acting Through Song
In this acting technique class, students will learn how to apply acting techniques towards songs. They'll learn how to approach lyrics as text, break down the performance beats in a musical number, and stage a performance that will showcase not only their skills as a singer, but as an actor.

Broadway Kids: Frozen
Enter the world of Frozen! Young musical theater performers will explore the movie musical through creative drama games, singing, dancing, and acting out characters from "Frozen." We will learn two songs from the movie including "Let it Go" and choreograph a dance, too! We will have a dynamic performance to share on the last day of class.

Voice: Duets
Singing skills are essential to young performers interested in musical theater. Designed for students who want to study voice but are not ready to commit to private singing lessons, this small class is perfect for the aspiring performer. Students will study musical terms and singing techniques and explore their voices through group songs and duets from musicals. At the end of the session students will confidently sing for families and show off what they’ve learned!
